Starting a long day's walk - from Hell Bourg in the Cirque de Salazie to La Nouvelle in the Cirque Mafate. This photo was taken on the climb up to the Col de Fourche on the GR1 variant via the Trou Blanc. The sharp peak of Piton d'Anchaing stands out clearly middle right.
