Images from our 2011 volcano trekking adventure across the Indonesian island of Java, visiting Anak Krakatau, Papandayan, the Dieng volcano complex, Gunung Merapi, Gunung Kelud, Gunung Mahameru (Semeru), Mount Bromo, and Kawah Ijen. All this with a day's caving in South Malang thrown in mid-itinerary for good measure!

When we booked our Javanese volcano tour with Aris, we read that his motto was "Arrive as tourists - leave as friends". It couldn't be closer to the truth. We shared two fantastic weeks with Agus and Aris, and cannot recommend them highly enough as guides.
